Access by Air
Leipzig’s international airport is located 18km from Leipzig and can be reached in just 14 minutes with Deutsche Bahn's Airport Express.
Leipzig/Halle airport offers direct connections to major European cities such as London, Barcelona, Istanbul, Zurich or Vienna. Furthermore, there are several flights daily to major German hubs such as Frankfurt, Munich or Düsseldorf. Delegates may also fly to Berlin and continue their journey by train. The train journey from Berlin Central Station to Leipzig takes only one hour, and trains run hourly.
